Candidacy Sermon by Rev. Elisabeth Hartwell - Oct 6, 2013
During the past 14 months your Pastor Nominating Committee has prayerfully reviewed the information provided by 130 applicants for the Trinity pastorate. We listened to recorded sermons of many candidates and we interviewed 9 of the applicants. We are delighted that we have unanimously agreed to nominate the Rev. Elisabeth Shelton Hartwell for election as our next called pastor by the Trinity congregation. We agree that Rev. Hartwell has a genuine and infectious passion for preaching, teaching, pastoral care, strategic planning, and for discerning a vision for our future as a community of faith and fellowship. Here is a video of the Candidacy Sermon given by Rev. Elisabeth Hartwell on Oct 6, 2013. |
